Living in New York City is never boring. The city never let you forget how much it has to offer! And in term of food and awesome restaurants or healthy bars Big Apple has no equal. Obviously, it goes without saying that these are cold seasons like autumn and winter that make for your appetite. You get less comfortable hanging-out outside and you’d rather stay inside… I know this feeling.

You get more hungry, especially catching a whiff of typical autumn and winter seasonings like cinnamon, cloves or nutmeg. And let us be honest, winter time makes you more apt to try some more caloric food. Well, certainly you care less about the calories then you used to during the summer. Me too. That’s why I’m writing this post today. Since it’s getting colder and colder, lastly I have visited a few new restaurants lastly. And here I would like to share with you what I have noticed and concluded from my small investigation.

My absolute favourite is Olmsted. This small restaurant is located on Vanderbilt Avenue, Prospect Heights and it seems to be not so famous place cause I have never seen there many people any time I’m there. That’s weird since so many people walk along Prospect Park where the bar is placed. Well the reason I guess is that it’s pretty new spot and many people have no idea about it but judging from super-delicious food they serve Olmsted’s gonna be a sock during the coming weeks!

My second best pick is Ayada. This is Thai restaurant located on Woodside Avenue in Elmhurst so it’s not in Manhattan but it is still in Big Apple.  I love the atmosphere of the place. Don’t know why but from the first time I’ve been there I feel like home! And it’s quite strange since I have nothing in common with Thailand but the passion for their food! But well, the climate of Ayada is totally my climate. Maybe it is because of the people working there, or the decoration, I don’t know but I know I love this place.
